W.I.S.D.O.M.

 (Wisdom/ Integrity/ Strength/ Diet/ Opportunity/ Movement)

 A guide to longevity and "quality of life". Creating and implementing strategic plans that help guide individuals to live their potential well into their mature years. Think of it as an "anti-aging" treatment. 

Teach yourself to C.A.R.E.

 (Correspondence/ (kinesthetic) Awareness/ Restructuring/ Emotional Expression)
The C.A.R.E. Acronym represents 4 tools often used in psychologically oriented body therapy.

  1. "C": Correspondence - deals with the mind- body duality (non reality). We uncover the reality that we exist in both mind and body. There is harmonic flow (a correspondence) that takes place automatically between the mind (psyche) and body (soma).
  2. "A": Kinesthetic awareness -addresses our loss and recovery of bodily feeling, establishing a connectedness that is experienced kinesthetically (movement in space). Full awareness of our dimensions has us living, experiencing our whole selves- rather than our separate selves. 
  3. "R": pertains to our physical and psychological realignment and reintegration. We begin to see we are the author of our stories. It is through other tools we begin to re- create our stories of our lives and begin living in the present rather then in the past or projecting into the future.
  4. "E" : deals with the restrained or cathartic release and the containment of emotional energies. Our affect of anger, sadness, pleasure, and joy for example, are momentary responses to our experience. While our emotions contain our personal history and attitude which transforms, sustains and amplifies the affects. Often our emotional life is buried in unconsciousness, therefore we use body-centered as well as Transpersonal concepts and practices to access our unconsciousness and begin understanding and healing.

Core Connections

This is a interactive course covering the basics of anatomy and physiology of the core musculoskeletal system and its role in human movement. The focus is on awareness of our primal patterns and learning to move and live more authentically which translates to increase ease of functioning and less pain.
